Standard Building Systems supplies roof and floor trusses to the residential and commercial construction industry.
Tony Burton is the Manager of the operation. Tony has 35 years of experience in the truss industry and was a consultant to the truss industry prior to joining the Standard team.
Our sales staff of Jason Gundy and Brent Holton have 20 years experience between them in the truss industry and both have a design background that helps them to answer any questions that might arise as they review plans with contractors, framers or the home owner.
Our design and estimating team consists of Adam Schulz, Gary Tanner and Tom Anderson and they all have learned how critical it is to ask all the right questions and the importance of attention to detail.
Production is led by supervisors Harry Miron and Mario Rivera who between them have close to 40 years experience in the truss industry. They have a fully trained staff of roof and floor truss builders.
The shipping department is managed by Jim Teft who, again, has many years experience in the business. Jim has three full time professional drivers and a full time yard person who take care of loading. The department has various types of equipment to service the customer's needs.
Standard Building System uses only Machine Stress Rated (MSR) lumber in its top and bottom chord for a higher quality product. Even on our valley trusses and end jacks our lowest grade still is a 1650 MSR. Although the initial cost to us is higher, we feel that it is worth it to give our customer a superior product.
